Rich vocal harmonies merge with intimate layers of guitar, fiddle and banjo to define the lush sound of Dusty Heart. Brought together through a shared wanderlust and love for musical harmony, the powerhouse duo of Barbara Jean and Molly Dean have crafted a dynamic and haunting sound rooted in the vast landscape of the American Heartland that bridges together the diverse musical worlds of roots, indie, and folk.

Pushing Chain was formed in 2012 by Boyd Blomberg and Adam Moe. The duo, which has been performing together in various manifestations since 1997, plays roots and Americana music featuring Boyd on guitar and vocals and Adam on the fiddle and vocals. Pushing Chain plays original songs, covers of classic artists like Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, and Nina Simone, and some fresh new takes on old folk songs. The duo also features tight harmonies and a gonzo approach which keeps performances fresh and exciting, even if you’ve seen them before.

Eli Bissonett and Joey Kenig play a wide variety of instrumental and vocal music with Finnish, Jewish and American roots.  Eli plays the violin; Joey plays the guitar (and sings).  Each brings music from his own ethnic background to the partnership, and together they explore the confluence of these deep and powerful traditional streams.  They are based in Ely, MN, and are available for live performance year-round.
